Fuglies Retail Stockist Enquiries

Fuglies Sunglasses was launched as a brand in November 2005 and since that time has grown in popularity and brand recognition. Initially Fuglies were only available online (from this website) plus through a few isolated stockists here and there who pestered us so much that we eventually gave in and let them become stockists just to keep them quiet.
It's now time to move to the next level and start getting Fuglies out into the real world via retail stockists and we would like to hear from anyone interested in taking them on and stocking them in their own store.
There is a bit of fine print, so let's get that out of the way first:
- Stockists must be in Australia and have an ABN.
- Stockists will be required to have a "bricks and mortar" shopfront in a market sector that reaches our core customer groups - fishing tackle shops, bike shops, hardware stores, sporting or camping stores, military outfitters, and safety equipment or workwear outlets - basically active lifestyle, workplace or outdoors stuff.
- Internet Policy: The internet is a tricky thing for us since, as an online-only business, it's already our "home turf" and we would prefer that you didn't directly compete with us in our own backyard by selling online. If you do want to sell online then it would need to be only on your own website as a part of a range of other products that you also carry in your retail storefront, and would need to be with our prior approval. Stand-alone websites for the sale of Fuglies only, online afilliate programs or eBay stores aren't on, and stockist rights will be cancelled in the event of this sort of unauthourised online selling.
- An initial order of 48 mixed pairs will be required, with subsequent orders in mixed lots of 24 pairs. Payment for the initial order will be COD with subsequent orders on account (pending credit check). Consignment stock is not available.
- A Fuglies-branded 36 pair 4 sided revolving counter-top stand with fitting mirror will be provided free of charge with the opening order, however the stand will always remain our property.
- Your first order will incur a $25 freight charge. All subsequent orders are delivered to your door freight free.
- Price integrity is important to us. Retail pricing is as per this website, with wholesale pricing offered that conforms to industry standard markups and margins while still allowing you to acheive this retail price point.
